From NYC to Paradise Island

Well, after a lot of laundry, packing and getting things in order yesterday, it was an early morning and a surprisingly quick ride to Laguardia airport.  I love it when the traffic Gods are looking down on me.  We checked in at the curb and bypassed the line inside to make our way to security. I have to say for a small tip to the Curbside attendant it is well worth it when you have kids, a stroller and all that luggage.

Atlantis Family Fun – The Rooms

Atlantis is a huge resort with may different room options, so bring your walking shoes.  The resort has many levels of rooms that really can fit most budgets.  I have either stayed in or viewed all of the room categories. I have to say there really is not a bad choice, if you are on a budget you can feel comfortable that you are going to get a great room.

Atlantis Family Fun – Getting There

My fabulous husband surprised our family and the Grandma’s with an Atlantis vacation at Christmas.  We had been to Atlantis before and always had a great time, both as a couple and with the kids.

Well, we packed up the sun screen and family and headed down to Nassau, Bahamas.  It is an easy flight from the NYC area. I try not to fly longer than 3 hours with the boys at this age to keep my sanity. We flew Continental, soon to be United, though I have to say I prefer Jet Blue.  Jet Blue, has bigger seats, more leg room, snacks and free TV. Also, it may just be my behind, but Continental seems to have the smallest seats around.     Read more
