Family Road Trip – Days 3,4 & 5 Back Home Again in Indiana

So we left behind Cedar Point and headed to my home town of South Bend/Mishawaka, Indiana.  I have to say I was looking forward to visiting family and my old haunts, most of which are food related, surprisingly.

On our way in to town I spotted the RV/MH Hall of Fame. That is the initials for the Recreational Vehicle and Motor Home, in case you did not know.  Who knew we needed a Hall of Fame for these fabulous modes of transportation. I have to say I was so tempted to stop.   Read more

Family Road Trip – Day 2 Cedar Point

When I planned our road trip I decided that our first stop would be Sandusky, Ohio home of Cedar Point.  I have many fond memories of Cedar Point. A Visit to Sesame Place

Well, at the last minute I decided we could just not stay home over the long 4th of July weekend. We wanted to stay local, so we headed to Sesame Place is in Langhorne, PA. It is only about 1 1/2 hours from us so it is an easy get away.  We decided to stay over night and chose the Courtyard by Marriott.  Then, we hopped in the car and headed off to see Elmo and friends.   Read more

Atlantis Family Fun – The Rooms

Atlantis is a huge resort with may different room options, so bring your walking shoes.  The resort has many levels of rooms that really can fit most budgets.  I have either stayed in or viewed all of the room categories. I have to say there really is not a bad choice, if you are on a budget you can feel comfortable that you are going to get a great room.
